СНГ - некий призрак былого имперского величия, который абсолютно бесполезен для нашей страны. Более того, СНГ приносит огромный вред. Он создает иллюзию того, что Россия продолжает сохранять некое единство со своими бывшими окраинами. Следовательно, мы, как бывший старший брат и самая крупная страна, имеем какие либо моральные обязательства перед бывшими "младшими братьями". И эти моральные обязательства действенно конвертируются во вполне материальную, спонсорскую помощь.
Вот недавно Россия сделала очередной царский подарок одной из бывших окраин - Украине. Оценивая долги за газ, который и так идет по льготной цене, правительство уменьшило сумму долга аж на несколько сот миллионов долларов. А оставшийся долг был реконструирован на 13 лет.
И подобные презенты, более или менее богатые, делаются всем странам СНГ. Так, Россия простила 100 млн. долларов молдавского долга. Киргизию облагодетельствовали тем, что урезали ее долг (59, 6 млн. долларов) на две трети. Даже русофобствующий грузинский режим был избавлен от выплаты 179 млн. долларов.
